Overview
The eyeQ program will help all of your students to be able to read and process information faster and retain it longer. The program has been used by over 1,000,000 people in the U.S. and over 7 million people around the world. The eyeQ program was developed in Japan over the past 30 years by Dr. Akihiro Kawamura. Through extensive research and testing, he found that we can significantly increase our brain’s learning and processing ability through a series of high-speed imaging exercises which utilize both graphics and text.
Dr. Kawamura also found that our brains can be stimulated and improved by using techniques that push us out of our comfort zone. The eye training in each session strengthens the eyes and increases peripheral vision, allowing us to take in more material at once. The imaging engages more of our right brain, which is the creative part of our brain. The high-speed imaging stimulates the neuro-pathways, strengthening the eye-brain connection and improving our thinking and reaction time.
EyeQ exercises the brain, improving mental processing much like physical exercise helps athletes improve their performance on the court or field. With consistent exercise and weight lifting, an athlete becomes physically stronger. Similarly, eyeQ helps people exercise their brain, enhancing all mental activities. As with an athlete, these skills diminish without practice but never totally go away. Periodically doing a simple eyeQ session will keep you mentally fit and help retain your enhanced processing skills.
The eyeQ system is a proven program for individualized learning to supplement your reading curriculum and will improve each students reading comprehension, fluency, and processing speed. Each student can learn and grow at his/her own pace.

How eyeQ Works
In just seven minutes every other day, students work through 48 reading and eye exercise sessions online.
A short, one minute reading test is taken at the beginning and end of each seven-minute session to monitor student's progress, while comprehension tests are taken periodically throughout the 48 sessions. Students simply watch words and images flash on their screen at variable speeds. This process enhances whole brain learning, promoting the right and left hemispheres of the brain to work in tandem, and increases the students ability to read faster, more fluently and comprehend more of what they are learning.

Results
FLUENCY & READING TESTS
Many cohorts have been tested for results utilizing eyeQ. Many testimonials and study results are available on our site, and a few are listed below. www.eyeQadvantage.com/k12/eyeQ-Results/ First off, a scientific experiment utilizing rigorous research methodological standards and the DIBELS® Fluency Test measured the effectiveness of eyeQ. The test was administered to a class of 5th grade students. The results of the test showed an average increase of 29% on the DIBELS® Fluency Test.
An additional scientific experiment to measure the effectiveness of eyeQ utilizing the Pearson® Reading Test was conducted with a class of 4th grade students. In this experiment, the student’s average increase was 43% on the Pearson® Reading Test after using eyeQ. The increases in test results ranged from 10% to 121% improvement.
ACT & SAT TEST PREPARATION
A critical component to students success on standardized tests is the ability to read quickly and accurately. One of the worst scenarios is to have a student run out of time and not be able to answer every question completely. The eyeQ system has helped thousands of people prepare for standardized testing by increasing their reading speed and comprehension.
The results of two separate classes taking the ACT or the SAT and the results in the reading (ACT) and Math and Reading combined (SAT) scores are presented here. These classes had a dramatic increase after using eyeQ. The first class measured a 20% increase on their reading scores on the ACT test after completing eyeQ. Similarly on the SAT exam students in a cohort we studied measured a 20% increase in both reading and math scores after completing 12 sessions of eyeQ.
