Global Virtual Curriculum is a provider of Virtual
Curriculum that delivers 21st century leading edge
tools for the student that may be more successful outside
of the “traditional” classroom. Through its use of
interactive learning, rich multi-media presentations,
and adaptation to different learning styles, the Global
Virtual Curriculum is able to provide tools that enrich
and enhance student learning.
With its integrated portals for the student, parent
and faculty, this unique and comprehensive learning
platform emphasizes the collaborative relationship
between parent, student, teacher and school in creating
the optimal learning process and environment.
Global Virtual Curriculum is a standards based curriculum
that was developed by a leading U.S. Public school
district and is deeply rooted in the National Academic
Content Standards. It is currently in use by over 168

Annual license includes unlimited courses for 365
days. If a subject is too difficult, or to easy, we
can bump a student up or down a grade level (or more)
to make sure they're learning at the appropriate level.
Most lesson includes a PDF version which, when Acrobat
6.0 or above is installed, will read the text of the
lesson to the student. We believe this will help create
the link between the audio and visual components of
learning.
Not only can a student access the courseware in their
optimum learning period, they can take as long as they
need.
Internal messaging system reduces the stigma of student
embarrassment in the classroom.
The teacher module includes the answer keys, and will
calculate the % correct, but the teacher has total
over-ride on lesson and course grade.
Each lesson is embedded with audio and video streaming
from Discovery net that supports the lesson material.
All elements of the students home, course and lesson
pages are color coded, symbol coded (smiley faces)
and progress noted (i.e. 7 out of 18 lessons complete).
We believe that these concrete visual cues help with
motivation and forward momentum.
Many students who move frequently lose continuity
in their education, both in time and in material.
This curriculum ensures a student can pick up exactly
where they left off, no matter where they travel.
Once a student enrolls and completes material, that
material will always be available to them for review
and relearning. It will stay in all related modules
(i.e. student, parent & teacher), so that it can
be referred to for earlier concepts. Coincidentally,
this is an excellent resource for "portfolio
maintenance" which is an aspect that's critical
for college entrance.
When you contact us, either by phone or by e-mail,
you'll be talking with the management staff. If we're
tied up with another client, please leave a message
and we'll get right back to you. All e-mails and phone
calls are returned within 24 hours.
