Oasis Charter Academy is a Personalized Learning Independent Study charter school program. Our Independent Study program requires student to attend two meeting a week for at least 2 hours each time with a certificated teacher. Students complete assignments at home and turn in properly completed assignments at the designated time. Completing assignments in the specified time frame fulfills time and credit requirements.
Oasis provides individual instruction with each student. Individual tutoring is addition to regularly scheduled instruction is provided to those students seeking additional assistance in any subject. Individual tutoring is provided by the teachers upon request by students, parents or teacher recommendation.
Our curriculum is a combination of books, hands on activities, projects, and technology. Oasis also offers small group instruction in:
- Photography
- Science Labs
- Exercise Room
- Test-Taking Skills
- Note Taking/Study Skills
Parents and community play a very important role in our school. Understanding our educational program, student achievement, and curriculum development can assist both our school and the community in ongoing program involvement.

Parents are an integral component of the Personalized Learning Independent Study curriculum and provide support while students complete assignments at home. When students enroll in our program, parents are required to meet with the assigned teacher to discuss the program and are encouraged to attend and participate in the many events offered by Oasis Charter Academy.
